Accoding to Madara
This mask, full of Fruit acids and vitamin C aims to brighten your skin by exfoliating it, removing dead cells, diminishing lines and dark spots and deep cleansing your pores.
Why Did I buy it?
I bought it in the first place to unclog my pores as it is my main concern lately. I was also really excited about the fact that it fights the first sign of skin ageing while not being to heavy for me.
My Madara Brightening AHA Peel Mask Review
While using it, I got surprised by the texture. It does not look traditional at all as it is not a cream or a clay composition. It is more sticky and liquidish. Even though it doesn’t feel like the perfect cocooning activity, I can’t say it bothered me.
You are supposed to keep it on from 7 to 10 minutes and I have to say that it seemed a bit long to me and that I got slightly worried. It was the first time I was applying a AHA Peel Mask and my skin reacted pretty strongly. I knew it is sensitive but I really wanted to give it a go. It started getting itchy and very uncomfortable from 7 minutes so I decided to rinse it off.
Good news, once my face was clean, I noted no redness or irritation. In the opposite it was definitely brighter, smoother and looked fresher for 3 days.
I have now used that mask 3 times and I love it. I have less clogged pores and my complexion is definitely clearer. Even though some dark spots are coming out (I reckon this is due to the fact that the mask is absorbing the comedons a bit deeper at each application), I am happy about the results. I am not worried about the itchy effects of the mask anymore as I know it is eventually not too aggressive.
I truly recommend it as it is such a great help for me! However, very sensitive skin be aware that it might not be suitable for you.
